Nameservers (NS)

Problem:

I own a domain purchased from another registrar; how do I set that domain to use Free1host Name Servers?

Solution:

The Name Server entries are a critical part for proper website operation when setting up your domain. If these are not set correctly, your website will not work properly--and oftentimes not work at all. If you purchase a domain from Most Host, we automatically set those Name Server entries for you.

If you purchased the domain from another company, you will need to set the Name Servers with them. In most cases, you will have a way to edit them yourself from their provided tools; if not, you may need to contact them directly and request they change them for you. Please change your Name Servers to:

  • ns3.most-host.com
  • ns4.most-host.com

  • Note: Please be aware that making changes to the Name Server entries can take 24-72 hours to update on DNS resolvers worldwide. During this time, the site may not be viewable by all visitors, depending on their local DNS resolver(s).
